Air Vehicles Research

The Air Vehicle Research Section (AVRS) is co–located with the National Research Council Institute for Aerospace Research (Ottawa, Ontario).

AVRS performs research and development primarily through the National Research Council of Canada in:

  • Aeropropulsion, aircraft structures and materials
  • Aerodynamics and flight mechanics
  • Electrical power sources
  • Prognostics and health management (PHM)
