  • Advise the Department of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces, as well as the public safety and national security communities on science and technology related issues.
  • Engage and collaborate with an extended network of stakeholders, domestic and international partners.
  • Exercise functional authority to ensure coherence of defence and security science, technology and innovation investments.
