Defence R&D Canada focuses its science and technology expertise in areas of critical importance to current and future Canadian Forces operations and public security. Its key objective is to ensure that the Canadian Forces remain technologically prepared and operationally relevant in a defence environment that will see an increased focus on interoperability with allies, technology-driven warfare and new asymmetric threats.
